Who is RealRail, Inc?

The Railroad Education and Learning Center of Florida is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the history and effects of Railroading that participated in the growth of the nation and in Florida. We are located in Manatee County, FL.  We are a sustaining member of the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA), the a national organization for model railroaders, and the Sunshine Region (SSR) of the NMRA. We are also a member of the Florida Association of Museums and the Atlantic Coast Line/Seaboard Air Line Historical Society.

What Information Does RealRail Collect?

We collect no information about you when you visit our web site.  If you choose to purchase products from RealRail that may be periodically offered, instructions on how to order by phone or mail will be provided.  If you chose to provide us your email address, you may receive periodic emails about upcoming events and activities.

When you come to one of our public events, you will be offered an opportunity to provide us your mailing information to make you aware of future events and activities.

We do not collect information from other parties.

• to make you aware of future events that RealRail participates in.

• RealRail Does not share information with any other party with the exception of Legal Disclosures.  In the highly unlikely event RealRail is required to disclose customer information pursuant to lawful requests, such as subpoenas or court orders, or in compliance with applicable laws, RealRail will make such disclosure.

You can update or correct your name, address, or e-mail address at any time by writing to us via US Mail.  This information is not maintained or available on our website.  See the table below to update your information.

How To Opt Out Of Receiving Further Communications From RealRail?

To be removed from any one of the RealRail Family mailing lists, please contact us by US mail, at the relevant address listed on the above table.  You may also opt out of receiving any emails from us by clicking the link at the bottom of any email you receive.  Such electronic removal is immediate.

We will make every effort to implement any choice you make as soon as possible, but you should allow approximately three months for mailing change requests to be fully implemented.

Does RealRail Send Unsolicited Promotional E-mails?

No. We do not send any unsolicited emails. 

How Does RealRail Safeguard the Information Collected?

RealRail protects against unauthorized disclosures by limiting access only to those of our members who need the information.  RealRail members are trained about their responsibility to protect our customers' privacy. We limit the information we provide to outside companies to only the information we believe is appropriate to enable them to carry out their responsibilities under our contracts.  These companies are limited to mailing companies that handle our mailings. 

Does RealRail Use Cookies?

The improper use of cookies and other such technologies has generated much anxiety for consumers. RealRail, however, must use cookies for proper operation of this web site.  The cookie you receive is a unique number, different and reassigned each time you visit the web site.  It is only used to identify you during the time you visit the web site.  It is normally deleted when you leave the web site.

No. RealRail does not aggregate any information about you.
